I just have to share this with people to see if it is just me or everyone else is crazy. There is a guy from my work getting married and I remember a few months back he told me that he still didn’t have a wedding song picked out. Anyway just this week I asked him if they had their song picked out and he said not really but we have sort of decided on Chicago “You’re the inspiration”. I was so shocked, I mean it is an ok song but surely there are better songs for weddings right? I don’t find it good enough for a wedding song. Just this week I heard a gorgeous song for a wedding by Eric Benet & Tamia “Spend my life with you”. I actually heard it while on hold at work. I quickly jotted down the lyrics I heard and looked for it. Does anyone have any suggestions on a great wedding song?

I came back from work and was cooking, and have just finished. I swear the oven I have is falling apart. There is a Chilean/Filipino girl at work and she doesn’t eat much Chilean food. So I had to make her something. It is a tragedy that she hasn’t kept both nationalities. She doesn’t speak Spanish at all and most foods that I mention to her she has never heard of. It is sad really. I should take some photos of the cake I made and post them later
Guess who finally saw sex and the city? MEEEEEEEE!! All I can say is it is about time. I mean how long ago did it come out?? a whole month ago. I enjoyed it and actually even cried a bit in it, okay perhaps a little too much. I will not say anymore in case someone else out there hasn’t seen it yet but all I can say is…

Changing the topic a bit, I finally got cable internet. I won’t have to worry about it being disconnected again because of the rain, I can’t say how happy I am. Although we had to change our phone number so we could get cable, which is a bit of a pain as we have to memorise yet another number. I swear sometimes there are too many numbers and passwords to remember. The brain must be quite full of it all. You have to remember a pin for your bank account, important birthdays or anniversaries, password for your email, password to get into your work computer which constantly has to change because of security reasons. And most people have more than one bank account or email.
On a very sad note my electric blanket died today. This is such bad timing. We are in the middle of winter!! I was hoping that the cable was just disconnected but, no such luck, it will not turn on at all. I guess I will have to steal my husbands…

I must quickly write this post before the internet decides to die on me. It has been down most of the weekend. We have had rain here in Sydney and whenever it does rain it will ruin my internet connection. I think the exchange gets flooded out! But thank goodness on Friday that will change, I will finally be changing my internet from DSL to cable, fingers crossed that it all works.
I finally watched 27 dresses today…yes I am way behind in my movies. I have to say I did enjoy it. I have heard so many bad things about the movie but I liked it. Now I just have to see sex and the city movie.
I have an RDO this Friday, I really enjoy them however hate the fact that I have to work Sunday because of that RDO. The day is so long as there aren’t many stores that call, so the hours really drag.
I haven’t really got much to say, life is pretty much work and then home. Pretty boring huh? The only exciting thing I can say is that our settlement for our house loan should come through this weeke….finally!!
